NRA's Political Victory Fund Awards AQ Rating

Sunday - January 14, 2018

I am pleased to announce that the National Rifle Association's Political Victory Fund has given me an "A" rating based on my positions on issues of importance to gun owners and Texas sportsmen. As a 25 year commissioned Texas law enforcement officer, Master Peace Officer, and CHL/LTC holder, I have carried a gun my entire adult life and I will defend every citizen's right to own and bear arms. - David Stall

Lavaca County Candidate Forum in Yoakum

Friday - January 12, 2018

Thank you Republican Women of Yoakum Area for hosting what has been the largest candidate forum I have attended so far as a candidate for House District 13.
About 175 Republicans from three counties gathered at the Yoakum Community Center Thursday night to meet and hear from more than 50 candidates. It was another good night for the David Stall Campaign. A strong presentation and requests for more large 4x8 signs. I also enjoyed reconnecting with loyal Republican workers, one of which I worked together with on a campaign more than 30 years ago! There's no substitute for experience.

Burleson County Candidate Forum in Caldwell

Tuesday - January 9, 2018

What a wonderful candidate forum in Burleson County tonight!
About 80 Republicans gathered at the Caldwell Civic Center to met and hear from their five candidates for State Representative. Linda and I were touched by the outpouring of support. It was a pleasure visiting with so many fellow Texans that reflect our rural values. One of the farmers I spoke with will plant crops for his 50th year in 2018. Thank you Burleson County GOP for being such an outstanding host.

"A" Rated on the 2nd Amendment

Monday - January 8, 2018

I am pleased to share that I have been notified by the Texas State Rifle Association PAC that my candidacy has been given an "A" rating based on my positions on the 2nd Amendment, hunting, personal protection, and other issues of importance to law-abiding, Texas gun owners.

Austin County Candidate Forum in Sealy

Thursday - January 4, 2018

Thank you Austin County for hosting a great candidate forum. I enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces and supporters. Of course, it was an opportunity to introduce myself and my campaign to dozens of voters that I had not yet had the pleasure of meeting. It was an outstanding night in Sealy.

Over the years I have attended many Austin County Republican Party meetings in the back room at Tony's and the hospitality is always superior. I give a special thank you to those supporters that surprised me by coming from neighboring HD-13 counties to show their support for my campaign.

It's very important to me that I learn as much as possible about the issues and concerns of each community in our House District. During the last two weeks I had the opportunity to have some great visits with Austin County officials and business leaders.

Our campaign for State Representative is off to a great start in Austin County, and across the district.
